fête-people

fete it be...

There are a number of fête-people you need to know..

Jack DelGado – fête’s creative director and owner, guru, dog lover, musician and a true Son of Anarchy.  If you need it to look cool – then ask this fêteman to do it!  Jack is the soul of everything fête…

Matt Morgan – fête’s music editor.  Plays any instrument (extremely well), owns Sit-N-Spin Recording Studios, videographer, sound master, brain stormer extraordinaire and all around fantastic fêteman.  Matt also films and produces FêteGreenvilleTV and the incredible music videos embedded in his 2 page column each month in the magazine.

Dave Galloway – fête’s mobile music manager.  If there is a cool way to say “see this band”, Dave does it.  FêteGreenvilleTV’s on air music personality, quick smiling and wickedly funny with a ravenous appetite for musicality in all its forms.  Dave writes the “shows to see” section of the magazine each month.

Jay Spivey – fête’s crazy idea guy and owner.  Knows nothing, yet talks likes he has the answer for everything.  Thank goodness for the other people on this page!

Tim Brosnan – fête writer and videographer.  Take a gander at his stellar work in every Last Word fêteditorial, his phenomenal fête promo videos and in some of his super funny/insightful commentary bits he puts in fête magazine.  Graphic designer of true note and acumen, print designer, actor and director, blah, blah, blah – let’s just say more talented than most 3 people…

Andy Turner – fête’s unpaid staff comedian.  Find him on FêteGreenvilleTV every Tuesday trying to make sense of all the junk we have going on in our town.  Great real estate agent, wonderful wife and damn good man.

Kim Davenport – fêtedish lady!  Food photographer to the stars, great woman, cool and a damn fine graphic designer.  You will want to eat your iPad as soon as you see her work in the magazine.

Lee Ann Carter – fête’s anchor columnist.  Can describe anything better than anyone in 2 pages – now that’s an art form.  Freelance writer with really cool laundry list of notable clients.  Sailor.

Curtis Hanvey – fête’s live music video Prince.  Passionate about his art, cool as a cucumber and insanely dedicated.  Wants nothing more than to record that magical chord that no one has seen before.

Susan Smith and Maureen Abdalla – fête-mistresses.  If you have not seen the humor of these Cafe & Then Some ladies in the magazine – well, damn stupid of you.  Always a handful, always 29605-ing their way around town and definitely the queens of comedy.  Their video is a fête exclusive each month in the magazine.

Donough Forde – fête’s contrapuntistic humorist, the grand observer of why we do what we do.  Irish, funny, left handed and an accomplished hurler.  A possible renaissance man in the midst of fêteworld.  Another great real estate agent.

Jason Locke – fête indie-cool live music finder/writer.  We all wish we could know and feel the music the way Jason does.  Cool phrase turner as well.

Teresa Roche – fête arts writer.  If there is a kinder or better soul in our cool art sphere – we don’t know of it.  Insightful, interesting and always encouraging us to broaden our horizons by adding just a bit more color.  Cool woman she is…

Tim O’Neill – wordsmithing fête fiction writer.  And, Tim came up with the fête name for this global empire to be.  Copywriter, raconteur and just about the best storytelling motorcyclist east of the Pecos…

Fete Magazine is a multimedia celebration of Greenville, SC.  The Fete Greenville blog is designed to promote, provoke and proffer on our neat little area.  Hip, cool, interactive/digital and produced monthly to satisfy your need for humor, events and entertainment.  Videos, great articles and links to everything – in one place.
